Step 1. In a bol, mix the chicken with the egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and mustard until you get a manageable mixture. If too soft, add a bit more breadcrumbs.
Step 2. Take small portions and shape into walnut-sized balls.
Step 3. Roll them first in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere well.
Step 4. Place them in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Lightly spray with cooking oil.
Step 5. Cook at 190 °C (375 °F) for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown, crispy on the outside, and cooked through.
Step 6. Once ready, lightly toss the bites with the mild BBQ sauce or serve it on the side.
